Our goal is to ensure complete satisfaction with our Shopify design and development projects. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so we’ve outlined our refund policy below for clarity and transparency.
1. Discovery and Initial Consultation
* All discovery and consultation fees are non-refundable, as these services involve dedicated time and resources for project assessment, strategy development, and initial planning.
2. Refunds for Custom Design & Development Services
* Due to the personalized nature of our design and development services, refunds are generally not offered once work has commenced.
* If a project needs to be terminated, a partial refund may be considered based on the amount of work completed, less any expenses incurred.
* Any deliverables already shared with the client prior to cancellation will be charged for based on the agreed hourly or project rate.
3. Project Scope and Revisions
* Projects that exceed the original scope or require significant revisions outside of the agreed-upon project scope may incur additional charges.
* Refunds are not available for revisions or adjustments that were requested outside of the initial project scope.
4. Deposits and Milestone Payments**
* Initial deposits are non-refundable once work on the project has started.
* For milestone-based projects, each completed milestone is considered final and non-refundable once approved by the client.
5. Refund Processing Time
* Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within **3-4 working days** after the refund request has been approved.
* Refunds will be issued via the original payment method, and additional processing time may vary depending on your financial institution.
6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
* In the rare case that Friction Studio is unable to complete a project due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, we may offer a full or partial refund based on the project stage.
* Refunds will be reviewed and processed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the specific details and efforts involved.
7. Client Satisfaction and Dispute Resolution
